Hi! My name is Slater Robinson, and I grew up in New York City. At 18 I got my degree in Computer Science,but although I graduated from a Science-Engineering field it was back then in college where I found my passion for Photography. I later worked as a jewelry photographer for 2 years at Gem Stone King Owned by Charlie Hollander. The most expensive collection I Photographed at once was worth a whopping $15 Million! That just blew my mind. I then jumped into celebrity profiles, capturing Hollywood’s “A" Listers like Sean Puffy Combs, J-Lo, Usher, Mariah Cary, & Will Smith just to name a few. Then came the Fashion; I was a part of everything from Rip The Runway to Fashion week. I traded my comfy New York posh life and headed off; anywhere I thought was interesting enough see, which turned out to be 122 countries in a 10 year span! Being tired of traveling I came to Hawaii and married my beautiful wife, 2 years after we met. Now we call Hawaii our home. After shooting a couple of friend’s weddings I found a passion for wedding photography that trapped me and made me realize that shooting weddings was what I wanted to do for a living. I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. I love weddings not only because of the endless creative freedom that I have as a photographer, but also because it allows me to use all my past experience to create images that are epic & endless. I’ve come to realize that through wedding photography I get to be the witness of the essence of human emotion. Through wedding photography I have the chance to give my clients back a bit of the happiness that I feel for allowing them to give me the opportunity to do what I like most in life. I always give my best to provide fresh, candid and creative photography to tell the story of your long-awaited day. Based in Hawaii, I have a special interest in multicultural and destination weddings. From high profile events to intimate and traditional ceremonies, you and your guests are my main focus. I am always looking for the most spontaneous moments with an authentic yet elegant style! I do travel worldwide. I have already covered many events in the USA, India, Panama, Colombia, Italy, Poland, & Canada. I believe a wedding photographer should keep his photography a personal service.
